Friends of Chernobyl's Children ~ Edinburgh West (& West Lothian)
Welcome to the website for FOCC Edinburgh West (SC038871). By entering this site you have taken the first step to helping us breathe good, clean Scottish air into the lives of young children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
We are a small local charity which works to improve the lives of children in Belarus who are suffering from the long-term affects of radiation in their country. All our work is carried out entirely by volunteers who give their time and homes freely to allow children from Belarus a break from the radiation and poverty of their own country.
In 2010 we successfully established our West Lothian group which now operates alongside our longer established Edinburgh West group.
Although we are affiliated to the Friends of Chernobyl’s Children (UK), every penny which we raise goes to our activities here in Edinburgh West & West Lothian.
